FRIDAY AT MARIST SHADOW
PROGRAM
All current 7th
and 8th
grade students are
invited to spend an
interactive day at
Marist High School.
The day will include
attending classes
with a current
freshman or
sophomore, meeting
faculty, touring our
facility and
experiencing what it
means to be
"Students four
years...brothers and
sisters for life."
Dates:
The Friday at
Marist Shadow
program will run
from September 21st
through December
7th. Please
note Marist is out
of session on
Friday, November 23rd.
Additionally, Marist
has an early
dismissal scheduled
for November 30th
and there will be no
scheduled Friday at
Marist on this day.
Registration:
Students
must register with
Marist
in advance
in order to attend.
Please register
online (Click here
for
Friday at
Marist Online
Registration)
for one of our ten
Friday at Marist. All of our current
freshman and
sophomore students
are anxiously
awaiting the chance
to have a "shadow."
Permission Form:
Prospective students
should be aware of
their grammar
school's policy on
Shadow Days.
Each grammar school
student is required
to bring a
permission form
signed by a
parent.
Emergency contact
information is also
requested.
The
permission form will
be handed in on the
day of your visit. This form can be
downloaded from the
link below.
copy of the
Permission Form.)
Arrival Time:
Students should
arrive at 7:45am and
report to the Main
Office Entrance. This
entrance is located
at the West end of
the building and is
in the
Administrative wing.
Dismissal Time:
The Friday at Marist
program will end at
2:30pm.
If your parents are
coming to pick you
up, have them arrive
at 2:30pm at the
Main Office
entrance. Our
regular school
dismissal is at
2:20pm and student
and bus traffic is
heavy at this time.
If your parents
arrive at 2:30pm
traffic will be
minimal and parking
will be convenient.
If you will be
receiving a ride
home from a current
Marist student or
parent, please make
sure you know where
to meet your ride.
It would be best if
our current students
meet you outside of
the theatre at the
end of the school
day.
Attire:
Students should
dress casual and
neat. Collared
shirts are requested
and no jeans are
permitted.
Sneakers or gym
shoes are acceptable
for the day.
Lunch will be
provided for you in
our Cafeteria.
If you ever need
more information or
have questions,
please feel free to
contact Mrs. Alex
Brown, Director of
Admissions, at
773.881.5330 or
alex@marist.net.
