Theater Guild to present fall play

Marist_Much_Ado_About_NothingMarist High School’s Theater Guild will present Much Ado About Nothing Thursday, November 3 through Saturday, November 5. There will be a performance at 7:30pm each night in the RedHawk Theater.

This William Shakespeare classic comedy will take a modern twist, as the setting has moved from Messina, Italy, to the northern suburbs of Chicago in the 1980s, not unlike the famous John Hughes movies of that era.  Because the play focuses on gossip and rumors and status and relationships, Marist actors have added several pop culture references to 80's teen movies.

Tickets will be available at the door, and cost is $5 for students and $10 for adults. Enter through the main office entrance at the west end of the campus.
