Marist softball will compete in the IHSA final four June 9 and 10.  The RedHawks will face Lincoln Way East on Friday at 5:30pm at East Side Center in East Peoria.

With a win Friday, the team advances to the state championship game on Saturday versus the winner of the Oak Park-River Forest/Barrington game at 5:30pm at the same facility. A consolation game will be held at 3pm.

Tickets are $6 per person per game and will be sold at the gate. All games this weekend can be streamed online for a fee.

A student fan bus will be sponsored. The cost is $10 and includes entry to the game. It will leave Marist at 2:30pm. Registration is closed for the bus.

The team defeated Proviso West and Argo to capture the regional title. They beat Riverside-Brookfield and Lyons to nab the sectional title before defeating Aurora West in the supersectional game. Marist softball won state titles in 2012 and 2015.

Coach Colleen Biebel '07 will offer summer camps for girls in grades one through eight beginning June 12. Register today to be a part of this successful and fun program.
