ATTENTION SENIORS… your goldenrod extracurricular information sheet is due to Deacon Andy next week. Don’t miss out on this chance to brag a little about yourself in the yearbook!

This is the LAST CALL for the following students to come to Deacon Andy’s office immediately after these announcements to pick up your yearbook. The books are already paid for so why not pick it up today!!

ATTENTION MARIST COMMUNITY:

2 Blackhawks tickets for $5 total?!? The Spanish National Honor Society is selling raffle TICKETS @ $5 EACH FOR 2 TICKETS TO THE BLACKHAWKS GAME at United Center on Sun March 18, 2018 @ 6:30pm. All proceeds go toward the SNHS's fundraising cause this year, FANA in Colombia, which is an orphanage and a community center in Bogotá. The tickets could be a great Christmas gift if you win; the lucky winner will be announced in late Jan, 2018. See an SNHS member or Senora Nathan-Gamauf to get in on the game! 

If you didn’t get a gift tag, please stop in the SLO to get one.  The Christmas gifts will be delivered to Chicago area children.  They are due unwrapped by this Monday, December 18.

Tomorrow show your holiday spirit and wear your favorite ugly Christmas sweater with your skirt or pants.  Christmas socks are also acceptable.  On Monday you can wear a Christmas tie or socks.

The next Relay for Life meeting is tomorrow, Friday, December 15, at 7:00am in Room 119.  See Mrs. Pochyly with questions.

Come help support the Marist Book Drive by giving as many books as you can!

Book drop offs will be located variously around the school such as the Arc and Champagnat Square. 

The book drive ends on the 15th so donate before time runs out!

Remember to turn in copies of all your college acceptance letters and scholarship awards to Mrs. Gainer.  Even if you are not planning to attend a college, we would still like your letters for statistical purposes.

 

Tonight the girl’s basketball team is facing McAuley at home at 7pm.  There is a Christmas theme and you must have your student id to get into the game.

Attention ALL Cooking Club Members! Please meet today, Thursday, December 14th at 2:30 in the CAFÉ for a quick yearbook photo. Any questions? See Ms. Silva.

Come celebrate Navidad with Spanish club this Friday!  There will be singing, celebration, and lots of joy.  It’s a Posada potluck so please bring a Spanish-related food to share with everyone.  RSVP outside of room 208.

Sports

The girls basketball program will be hosting neighborhood rival Mother McAuley tonight at 5:30 and 7:00 p.m.  The program will be purchasing “Bish Wish” socks to help Ronald McDonald Charities at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn.  If you “Bish Wish” to help their will be a table outside the Main Gym to purchase different items.  Good luck to the Program!

Last night the boys varsity basketball team defeated Tinley Park 55-38. The RedHawks are now 8-0 and the season. The RedHawks will play again this Friday night versus conference rival Nazareth. Game time is 7 PM. Come out and support the RedHawks.
