Any student who still needs to buy a sticker for the dress down day can purchase a sticker outside of the main office from Coach Dawczak during homeroom.

 

Tonight the boys basketball team plays for the regional championship at 7 at home.  Bust out your ponchos and sombreros and come to the cafe before the game for a fiesta.  Food will be provided!  Let’s pack the stands for the regional championship!

Sunday is the Junior Ring Mass.  If you bought a ring and you did not rsvp you need to see Ms. Hopkins during lunch.

SPRING BREAK TRIP TO ITALY: An informational meeting regarding our upcoming trip to Italy over Spring Break is scheduled for Thursday, March 8th, at 5:00pm in room 223 (Italian classroom).  It is imperative that your parents attend this meeting to receive information about the travel itinerary, transportation, lodging, and what documents to bring. Also, remember that the third and last payment for the trip is due this Friday, March 2nd. You can turn in the check to either Mrs. Zulato or Senora Nathan-Gamauf.

Freshmen are reminded to check their Gmail accounts for their course selection schedule.

 

Marist community - Save the date for Explore's next Hawk Talk on March 13th at 7pm in the RedHawk Theater. Alum Tom Coyle will discuss his career in business and agribusiness. See flyers around school or Mrs. McArdle for more details.

 

ATTENTION ALL SPANISH NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS: Don’t forget our next mandatory meeting is this coming Monday, March 5th at 2:30pm in Rm. 211. We will hear from Brother Sam about the St Benedict Confirmation Retreat, learn from recent grad Sarah Thompson’s volunteer experience outside of Lima, Peru last summer & work on our FANA fundraiser. Let an officer or Senora N-G know if you have any questions!

 

St. George Catholic Church in Tinley Park will hold a prayer service against violence on Friday, March 2 at 7pm. The event is open to the community and they especially welcome students.

Sports

Boys’ volleyball tryouts will begin Monday, March 5th. Freshman tryouts will begin at 5pm, sophomores juniors, and seniors begin at 7pm. Please register and have a current physical.

 

All wrestlers are reminded to RSVP to the banquet by next Thursday by turning your money in to either Mr. Heffernan or Mrs. Blisk. All uniforms must be returned by next week.
