April drivers ed class is filled and the list is posted outside of the SLO. There is a wait list and summer drivers ed is filling up make sure to get the summer registration forms and fee in.

This is a reminder to bring in COPIES of all your acceptance letters and scholarship awards to Mrs. Gainer in the Guidance Office. Even if you do not plan to attend a college, we still want to track acceptance and scholarship information.
Scholarships will only be listed in the Graduation booklet if you bring in your award letters so don’t
disappoint your parents, bring your letters!
The Marquette Bank Foundation Scholarship will be awarding one Marist senior with a $2500.00 scholarship. The criteria for the award is financial need, community service and scholastic achievement. Please see Mrs. Gainer in the Guidance Office for an application. Your completed application is due to Mrs. Gainer by April 19th.
It’s Guacapalooza time! This Friday, bring your team and your best guacamole recipe to Spanish club. You must provide your own ingredients and kitchenware, and be ready to square off against all the other guac enthusiasts at Marist. Prizes will be awarded for the best guacamole. You don’t need to be a member of Spanish club to participate; all are welcome!
Attention Wrestlers: anyone who plans on wrestling next season must attend a meeting after school on Thursday, March 22, about summer camp and our spring wrestling schedule. The meeting will be held in the wrestling room and should only take about 10-15 minutes.
On Wednesday evening, the Marist Sophomore Boys Track and Field Team competed at the Sophomore Indoor Championships, hosted by Joliet Central. Marist scored 56 points, and posted victories over Lincoln-Way West, Oak Forest, Rich Central, and Lincoln-Way Central. Sophomore Thomas Leonard won the 1600m run. Freshman Jovan Marsh finished second in the 400m. Sophomore Thomas Leonard, Sophomore Luke Hortsman, Sophomore Anthony Johnson, and Sophomore Caleb Davis finished in Second place in the 4x800m Relay. Freshman Nick Coccaro finished in third place in the Long Jump, earning a bronze medal. Sophomore Caleb Davis finished in third place in the 800m run, also earning a bronze medal. Sophomore Peter Derdzinski cleared 7'0 in the Pole Vault.
The boys volleyball program swept Andrew on all levels last night in their season opener!! Rocky Mayer had 26 assists and 2 aces, Ryan Rappold had 5 kills and Marty Jepsen had 8 kills for varsity while Mike Mahoney led the sophs with 6 kills.
There is a meeting for all girls interested in playing volleyball next fall on Monday at 2:20 in the small gym.
The boys Lacrosse team defeated Whitney Young last night 15-0. Senior Tristan Ach led the way with 6 goals while junior Joe Stanton finished with 3 goals.
On Monday night, the Girls Track and Field Team competed at Glenbrook South. Athletes finishing in the top three in their events included Nora Poole in Pole Vault. Rory Curry in High Jump and Long Jump, Miya Drayton in Shot Put, the 4x800 of Stinites, Doyle, Lamb, and Rosa, Peyton Ross and Ashlin Pazkill in High Hurdles Whitney Melancon and Cameron Boswell in the 50m., Ella Gibbons in the Low Hurdles and Kaylin Strayhan in the 200m.
