Marist will host its first ever Champagnat Day Wednesday, April 18. As part of the 24-hour giving event, students can dress down for a $5 donation that will be collected during homeroom. Your shirt or sweatshirt must be a Marist shirt. If at least 400 students participate on Wednesday, a Marist alum will contribute $5,000 to the Marist Fund.
You can also participate in Champagnat Day through the selfie challenges on Wednesday. The best selfies in select categories will win fun prizes! Check out the Marist website or social media pages for details. And, we will be playing Champagnat Trivia on Tuesday during lunch mods. Winning tables will receive free pizzas on Wednesday…and everyone will receive a free cookie!

Spring Band Concert
The Marist High School Band presents its 53rd annual Spring Concert on Saturday, April 14 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 15 at 3 p.m. in the school’s main gym. Tickets are $5.00 and are available at the door. The band will be performing a variety of works that are guaranteed to help celebrate the arrival of Spring.

All boys interested in the summer soccer camp or leagues offered, please see Coach Maxwell for a registration form. The forms are due back by Thursday, April 19th. The camp will be in early June and leagues will run in June and July. Please see Coach Maxwell in room 106 for the registration form.
The softball team defeated York yesterday 4-0. Angela Zedak was stellar on the mound striking out 7. Lexi Voss had a solo home run and Kelly Walinski had a 3 run homer. The RedHawks will take on Downers Grove South today at home.
The girls track team finished 2nd at the 13 team Hillcrest invite. Medal winners include the 4x800 of Tracey, Borza, Butler, and Rosa finishing first, Nora pole 1st And Eirin O'Sullivan 3rd in Pole Vault, 4x200 of Mann, Strahan, Curry, and Melancon in 2nd, Jill Borza and Bailey Butler in 800, Kaylin Strahan in 200, Peyton Ross in 100 hurdles, Amanda Tracey and Nora Doyle in the mile, Curry in high jump and long jump, Nora Poole and Amelia Masnica, and Colleen Murphy and Lilly Roche in the 3200.
The boys volleyball program swept Sandburg on all levels last night! Varsity was led by Patrick Mahoney who had a career high 7 blocks!
