There will be a Mock Trial meeting tonight at 6pm in room 113. 

Interested in a college trip to Duke, North Carolina, GW, Georgetown, or Howard? All students and their parents are welcome to an informational meeting on Wednesday, May 2nd at 7pm in room 113. If you have a conflict but are still interested in the trip, please see Mrs. McArdle in her office this week. 

Attention Seniors: This is a reminder to bring in COPIES of all your acceptance letters and scholarship awards to Mrs. Gainer in the Guidance Office by Friday, May 4th. Please bring in all letters, even from colleges that you are not attending. We want to track all acceptance and scholarship information.

Clubs

Hola, Bonjour! Do you like movies? Come to the 2nd Annual World Language Film Festival this week to see original comedies, dramas, and thrillers made by Spanish and French 4 students. The festival will take place this Wednesday and Friday during lunch mods in the Redhawk Theater. So come on down and enjoy the show!

 

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS OF THE SPANISH NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

Feliz Cinco de Mayo! We will have a senior appreciation party, present them with their honor chords and have lots of food. See you this Friday May 4th at 2:30pm in Rm 211!

Sports

Congratulations to the boys tennis team who placed second overall in the Br. Rice Championship Tournament this weekend. Jeremiah Joyce placed second at first singles. Tim Flynn placed second in second singles. Jake Alberts and Luis Pinal placed second at first doubles. And Kevin Dolehide and Ben Marks placed third at second doubles. Good job guys!

 

Boys JV tennis players are reminded to be at the courts at 3:30 p.m. today for the match against Stagg.

 

Attention all dancers:  Poms tryouts will take place Saturday, May 5, at 7:00 a.m.  You must complete both the Google Form AND register via 8 to 18 on the athletic website in order to be able to tryout.  See Coach Placas in room 210 if you have any questions.

 

Over the weekend, the boys volleyball team went 5-1 in St. Louis finishing 2nd overall in the Lafayette Invite with their only loss to undefeated #1 in Missouri SLUH. The freshmen boys went 10-0 at the Marist Invite and took home titles in both divisions congrats Coach Meyer and Coach Reid!
