Ways to Give

Marist High School educates nearly two thousand young men and women each year.  To continue improving the education of our current and future student body, we rely on the generosity of our donors.  In the 2012-13 school year, donations can be made to our Red & White Stadium Campaign, Annual Fund, Financial Aid Program, the Endowment Fund and many other school projects.  The monies raised support Marist's mission to create a Catholic learning environment for students to excel academically and athletically.

Donations can be made online to the fundraising campaigns listed below.

If you have questions about a campaign, please contact Tom Inzinga, Executive Director of Development, at 773.881.5379 or inzinga.tom@marist.net.

Red & White Stadium Project:  Phase Two

There was a time when the varsity baseball field at Marist was the gem of the Southside. But with one obvious flaw, its left and center fields were a crowned football field. Adding to the mix was the construction of visiting stands that left badly needed repairs each year. Thousands of adults and kids walking on the baseball field each football season slowly destroyed the once envied diamond.

Enter the Red & White Stadium Project. With the commitment to build a turf varsity football field, the current shared baseball and football facility would no longer exist. The entire northeast corner of the campus would be dedicated to football.  Working with architects and consultants, plans were designed to move baseball west and create the school’s first baseball complex.

The plan calls for a state of the art varsity field to be built where the current freshman field is located while moving that field directly west. The varsity field will have walk down dugouts, batting cages, storage, additional mounds all contained in one area with the freshman field.

2012-13 Annual Fund
Each year the Annual Fund supports Marist High School improvement projects.  This year the Annual Fund will benefit the formation of a string ensemble; support the enhancement of technology in the classroom, and computer lab updates.

Marist High School Financial Aid Program
With the tough economic times that many of our families are facing, it has become more important than ever for us to come together as a community and support those who have the greatest need.  In recent years more than 33% of our students have relied on financial aid to help cover their tuition, books, and supplies.

Marist High School Endowment Fund
Each year interest from the Endowment Fund is used to supplement tuition for eligible students needing financial support.  As the number of people requesting financial aid and the level of need increases, so too must this Endowment.  It is the long-term goal of Marist to cultivate specific fundraising efforts, including some special events, major donations and planned giving to help grow the Endowment of Marist High School.  Your support of the Endowment will impact a student's life and pay dividends in strengthening the Christian fabric of the Marist Community for years to come.  To make a donation to the Endowment Fund, please contact Tom Inzinga at 773.882.5379 or inzinga.tom@marist.net
