Sharing the Call
We are companions on the journey...

The Marist Educators Conference is the first step in developing a network among Marist schools in the Marist mission of "making Jesus known and loved."
A gathering of lay women, lay men, Sisters and Brothers represent most of the Marist schools in the United States. For three days they spend time together in prayer, with time for reflection and planning, some presentations and input, and in the Marist tradition, socializing.
The conference is held at the Marist Brothers Retreat House in Esopus, New York about 90 miles north of New York City. Esopus is the symbolic heart of Marist life in the United States. It includes not only the Brothers' novitiate and cemetery, but also a retreat center that hold youth retreats during the school year and summer camps for underprivileged, sick and disabled children all summer. It is a place of connection for all that is Marist in the United States.
