Marist is sponsoring a number of charitable initiatives to help those in need this Christmas.
Marist Youth's annual Christmas drive for children is underway. Gift tags were distributed to students during lunch mods. This year's gifts will be given to Alliance for the Children who provides gifts to Chicagoland families. These donations should be unwrapped with the gift tag attached. Students can bring them to the tree in the cafeteria by December 18.
Additionally, the National Honor Society members will each participate in one of three Christmas service project: buying and wrapping gifts for adults in Robbins, working the breakfast with Santa on December 9, or Christmas caroling December 5 at Smith Village.
For more information or to get a gift tag contact Mrs. Pochyly or Mr. Meyer.
