Marist High School artists will be well represented in the third annual Beverly Art Walk on Saturday, October 1, from 12 to 7pm.
The Beverly Art Walk features work by talented local artists and artisans, home studio tours, live music, demonstrations, children’s activities, public art, coffee, wine tasting, craft beer, and trolleys for easy transportation. This year, work by more than 200 artists and artisans will be exhibited in 50 small businesses and pop-up galleries across Beverly/Morgan Park. Four local artists will also open their home studios for an insight into their artistic process, inspirations, and work. The Art Walk is a free, family-friendly event.
Marist art instructor Brian Keane '91 will exhibit some of his sculptures at Heritage Gallery, 1907 W. 103rd Street. He will also have a mural at Citizens Gallery, 10934-36 S. Western.
Joining him will be 15 talented Marist students with a variety of works on display at 2135 W. 95th Street, just west of Longwood.
