Marist High School is hosting Teen Tech Week March 8-10, 2016, for students in grades 6 through 12. The event is from 4pm until 6pm each evening. This event includes workshops, snacks, gaming space, and access to all the additional mini-workshops in the ARC/library.
Students can pre-register via the form below and pay $10 for the three day experience with all the activities! Pre-registered students get special access to the three big workshops, which include robotics, digital photography, and coding. Please note that space is limited in these workshops, so sign up early!
Students who do not pre-register can pay $5 per day at the door, and get access to the general activities, gaming space and snacks but no big workshop. There will also be live demos of our drones. The main ARC (library) space will include a Pixar animation lab, 3D printing demos, personal laser decal design and printing, makerspace activities, Sphero obstacle course, catapult building, and game tables.
This event is held in conjunction with local public libraries, and is open to the public. For more information, contact Marist's Librarian Ms. Kristen Rademacher. Enter at the library doors near the flag pole.
