Marist High School will be featured on ABC 7 Morning News at 6:00 a.m. for its popular Friday Flyover on Friday, October 12.
Students will showcase their best formations and will get the chance to meet ABC 7’s Meteorologist Tracy Butler! The RedHawks will be showing off their school spirit for the 6:00 a.m. Morning News and preparing for their home game against Marian Central Catholic High School.
Students need to arrive at Marist at 5:15 a.m. and assemble on the practice field behind the visitor stands of Red & White Stadium. Everyone needs to WEAR RED!
Everyone in attendance, including the band, teams, and Rowdies will create three field formations that will be featured from the sky. Students will also be interviewed.
Here's the deal:
Br. Hank and Mr. Tucker have put a generous challenge on the table. If at least half of the student body shows up, Marist will have a half day of school on Friday, October 12! So get your friends together for this awesome opportunity for the school community. (It will not be a late start.)
Following the news, Student Council will provide breakfast food for all who participated in the event. Tickets will be distributed that morning.
Students who drive to school must park in their assigned parking spots. Morning drop-off
Set your alarms and wear red!
