Christmas Concerts Ring in the Season

Feature_ChristmasConcertsGenericMarist High School will hold a series of concerts to ring in the Christmas season.

The chorus will celebrate the Christmas spirit with a performance on Thursday, December 5 at 7 p.m. in the school’s RedHawk Theater. The group will present a variety of holiday classics. Admission is $5 per person or $10 for a family. Enter at the main office.

Chorus will also hold its second annual Festival of Lights on Saturday, December 7 at 4:30 p.m. The event will celebrate the 201st anniversary of Silent Night, the renowned Christmas song. The event will be held in the chapel and is free of charge.

The school’s string ensemble will hold a concert on Thursday, December 12 at 7 p.m. in the chapel. The group will perform several holiday arrangements that will set the mood for this joyous season. This event is free and attendees should enter at the main office entrance at the west end of campus.

Marist’s band will hold its annual Christmas concerts on Saturday, December 14, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 15at 3:00 p.m. in the main gym. The group will perform pieces ranging from the operatic to jazz to a mix of thrilling Christmas standards. Tickets for the Christmas concert are $5 and will be sold at the main gym doors.
