Champagnat Day 2022

You are the piece that lives out the Marist mission!

5th Annual Champagnat Day - April 6th

Join us as we celebrate our 5th annual Champagnat Day on Wednesday, April 6. The 24-hour giving event commemorates the canonization of St. Marcellin Champagnat, the founder of the Marist Brothers, and celebrates those who live out the Marist mission — our students, faculty/staff, parents, alumni, and friends.

How You Can Get Involved on April 6th

  • Wear your Marist gear or our school colors
  • Share our social media posts or create your own using #champagnatday & #familyspirit
  • Build a team and support together online
  • Show you care with a gift to the Marist Fund

Our Giving Goal

Our goal this year is to raise $150,000 for the Marist Fund so that we may continue to give students the advantage of an exceptional, Catholic education. The first 600 donors who give $50 or more will receive a Marist-inspired Rubik’s cube that highlights the five pillars to which each member of the Marist family commits: Presence; Simplicity; Family Spirit; Love of Work; and In the Way of Mary.

Alumni, Parents, & Friends Can Support Together

We invite you to join your fellow alumni or build your own Champagnat Day Team with our new platform that will allow for peer-to-peer fundraising.

What exactly does this mean? We are happy to share this year, we are offering a new way to give online. This site allows alumni to see if a team page has been created for your graduation year that you can join and give together as a class, or you can build a team of your own with friends and family and give online.

When Can I Start Building a Team? Currently, our Champagnat Day Team building site is under construction. As soon as it is live, we will share a link here. On the page you will find: the latest updates on our 24-hour giving campaign; day-of totals as supporters join our day of giving; and afterwards how you and others helped us reach our goal.

How Long Does This Process Take? In less than two minutes, you can create a team page, set a goal, and begin working together to raise money. The platform offers features that will allow you to easily share your team's goal on social media, via email, or copying the link. By connecting many small amounts together, you have the power to make a great impact.

Students Can Make an Impact

This year, students, faculty and staff can join the Brothers and Sisters for Life Challenge. This will be a chance for grades and departments to work together as teams to raise money to help us meet our $150,000 goal. Our online giving platform will allow you to create, join, and raise money easily. The winning grade level will win a prize.

Those students wishing to make a $50 donation will receive a Marist-inspired Rubik’s cube. Donations can be made online.

On April 6 – Students will have the opportunity to help make and bag lunches for those less fortunate. All lunches will be delivered to local shelters. This opportunity will take place during holding periods in the main gym.

Please check back for updates and join us on April 6th!
