Christmas concerts to ring in the season

Marist High School will hold a series of concerts to ring in the holiday season.

The school’s string ensemble will hold a concert on Thursday, November 29 at 7 p.m. in the chapel. The group will perform several holiday arrangements that will set the mood for this joyous season. This event is free and attendees should enter at the main office entrance at the west end of campus.

The chorus will celebrate the Christmas spirit with a performance on Thursday, December 6 at 7p.m. in the school’s RedHawk Theater. The group will present a variety of holiday classics. Admission is $5 per person or $10 for a family. Enter at the main office. 

Marist’s band will hold its annual Christmas concerts on Saturday, December 8, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 9, at 3:00 p.m. in the main gym. The group will perform pieces ranging from the operatic to jazz to a mix of thrilling Christmas standards. Tickets for the Christmas concert are $5 and will be sold at the main gym doors. 

Additionally, the choir will celebrate the 200th anniversary of Silent Night during The Festival of Lights on Saturday, December 15 at 4:30 p.m. Learn more about this special event
