ATTENTION EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS… the list of assignments for Monday’s all-school mass is posted outside of Deacon Andy’s office and in your email INBOX. Please double-check the list for your name, and come to the main gym on Monday ready to serve.

Attention: All senior boys, there just a few spots remaining for the February boys' Kairos retreat. If you would like to sign up please see Coach Brennan in the SLO for more information.

Juniors who missed last week’s presentation on Senior Service should see Deacon Andy or Mr. Hyland for an application.

Seniors and juniors:  There will be a representative here today during lunchtimes from Northwestern College, Bridgeview Campus to talk with you about their business school.  This is NOT Northwestern University, but the school formerly known as Northwest Business College.  Check it out.

Clubs

Bring your palomitas and refrescos and join Spanish Club in watching The Motorcycle Diaries: the story about the early life of Che Guevara. We will be meeting right after school today in room 211. All are welcome.  See Srta. Jorgensen with any questions.

ATTENTION ALL SPANISH NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY STUDENTS: Our first mandatory meeting in the new year will be this coming Monday, January 28th at 2:30 in Rm. 211. We will be talking about our work with Corazon a Corazon & a new initiative that serves the people of rural Guatemala in numerous ways, Hearts in Motion. See you all there!

Sports

The Marist RedHawk hockey team will conclude its Vs. Cancer campaign Sunday evening when it hosts Brother Rice at the Morgan Park Ice Arena. Game time is 6:15pm. The players will welcome and honor their special guest, Timmy O’Connell. Timmy is 7 years old and is courageously battling a brain tumor.  Representatives from the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation will also be on hand to thank the players for raising more than $10,000 to support children fighting brain tumors.  We encourage all RedHawk students, faculty, and friends to join us for this special event.

All boys' soccer players; please come to room 106 after school on Tuesday, January 29, regarding our annual 3v3 soccer tournament.  The meeting will only last 15 minutes in room 106.

This coming Wednesday, January 30, is senior night for the girls' varsity basketball team.  We will be honoring our three seniors Abby Callahan, Nora Donegan, and McKenna Kallianis.  Ceremony will start at 6:15 p.m., followed by the game at 7:00 p.m. against Marian Central Catholic.  Please come out and honor our seniors!!
