All students interested in baseball this spring should attend a short meeting this Friday from 2:30-2:45 in the small gym.


The first Hawk Talk of 2019 will be next week. On 1/16 alum Ian Schaller '06 will share his experience working in the field of health physics at Argonne National Lab in the Main Office Conference Room during lunch mods. Space is limited; please sign up by e-mailing Mrs. McArdle with your name & lunch mod. Snacks will be served. 


There will be a Young Chicago Voters’ Event today, Wednesday, January 9th from 6 to 8 PM at Cork and Kerry.  If you are a senior, live in Chicago and will be 18 by February 26th you are welcome to attend.  Pizza and pop will be served.


There is a Relay for Life meeting this Friday morning at 8:00 in the Café.  See Ms. Pochyly with questions.

Attention all students! If you have a book checked out from the ARC it is OVERDUE! Stop by the ARC to drop it off if you do not want a large replacement fee.

Boys Track and Field practices commence on Monday, January 14, 2019. A TEAM meeting will take place BEFORE the first practice in the Marist Cafeteria at 2:30 pm to introduce the coaching staff. ALL members of the Track and Field TEAM must be registered online BEFORE attending the first practice of the 2019 season. The Redhawk Varsity Wrestling team was busy over the Christmas Holidays. They participated in the prestigious 38 team Al Dvorak Tournament where they placed 13th. Finishing in 7th place were Michael Leveille and Ghee Rachal. Making the finals and finishing in 2nd place was Jacob Dado.

The Wrestlers then traveled to Granite City for a 30 team tournament that featured teams from all over the Midwest. The Redhawks finished 9th as a team and had numerous place winners. They were; in 7th place, Mateen Taylor, Kendrick Nowling and Ghee Rachel. Finishing in 5th place was Owen Dunlap. Earning a 3rd place finish was Jacob Dado and winning the championship for the Redhawks was Michael Leveille. Great job wrestlers!

The Redhawk Wrestlers have a home Double Dual Meet vs Montini and Marian Catholic this Thursday and then participate in the Illini Classic at Lincoln Way West High School this Friday and Saturday. Good luck Wrestlers!

Attention all girls interested in Track and Field.  All athletes who would like to run distance this upcoming spring indoor and outdoor season there is a Mandatory Meeting after school on Friday 1/11 in room 205.  This is a brief yet important meeting all distance runners will need to attend.
