Just a reminder to parents that the Marist High School entrance doors for all year levels will be open at 8:15 am. Students arriving prior to this time must have clearance from their teachers and be on a pass list to enter the facility.
Last Saturday, the Marist varsity boys' cross country team finished in SECOND place at the ESCC Conference Championship, and had a record of 8-1 on the day! The RedHawks had a record SIX athletes earn ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS by placing in the Top 23 at the ESCC Championships at Arlington Race Track. Marist was led by junior Jake Phillips (2nd place, 15:24.6). Junior Andrew Kerlin finished second for the RedHawks and in 5th place overall (16:21.5). Sophomore Danny Olsen ran the fastest time (17:01) by a sophomore athlete in the conference to finish third for the RedHawks and in 14th place overall. Senior Jonathan Rivera finished fourth for the RedHawks and in 15th place overall. Senior Tommy Kavanaugh finished fifth for the RedHawks and in 16th place overall. Senior Kevin Bugos finished sixth for the RedHawks and in 19th place overall. Junior Brendan Geary finished seventh for the RedHawks and in 35th place overall. In the Sophomore race, Marist freshman Jack Connor, sophomore Walter Fleming, and sophomore Frankie Wagner earned ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS. The Marist varsity boys will host the IHSA Regional Championships on Saturday, October 24, 2020.
