Clubs

Calling all chefs! Group 4 will meet Thursday, October 31st at 3:00pm in the CAFE. Please look for Ms. Mazur and Ms. Silva.

 

Sports

Congratulations to the varsity soccer team on their 2-1 victory last night over Bloom Township in the Sectional Semi-Final.  Ethan Fit scored an early goal assisted by Marc Carreon and Brendan Raftery scored the game winner in the second half on an assist from Aidan Gleeson.  The back line and goalie John Kennedy provided a strong defensive effort in the win.  The team advances to the Sectional Championship on Saturday against Lincoln Way West at 10 am at Lincoln Way East.  Admission is $6. Please come out and support the team!

Volleyball started its playoff run on Tuesday with a win over Proviso East. The team plays in the regional final Thursday at and against Stagg at 6pm. Admission is $5.

All students interested in trying out for baseball this spring.   There will be a meeting this Friday at 2:45 in the small gym.  Meeting will last about 15 minutes.  Anyone who is on the varsity football team will not need to attend.

Any boys interested in joining the bowling team, tryouts today, Wednesday, October 30, and Friday November 1, if necessary. Tryouts are at Burr Oak Bowl in Blue Island and will begin at 3:15pm, see Coach Brennan or Coach Higgins with any questions.

Any student interested in joining the wrestling team should attend a brief informational meeting on Wednesday, November 6, after school in the wrestling room. Wrestling practices begin Monday, November 11. If you have any questions, please see Coach Heffernan in room 117.
