Juniors and seniors interested in traveling to Notre Dame and St. Mary's should grab a permission slip from the Explore office next to room 129 for a trip on October 29th. 

There's still time to turn in applications for the February college tour to Mrs. McArdle! The final deadline is October 15th.


Our visitors from Argentina are coming and it's time for the biggest game of the year: The American vs. Argentine soccer game. We need some participants to play and some to watch and cheer on the teams. If you are interested in playing, sign up outside of room 220. The game will take place tomorrow in the main gym! ¡Vamos Maristas del Norte! 

Calling all Chefs! The Cooking Club Groups have been created. Please check to see which group you are in and what day you will meet. Please pay attention to the announcements in advisory and in Canvas to get the most recent updates. All members of Group 1 should meet in the CAFETERIA at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2019. Please look for Ms. Mazur and Ms. Silva. Look through the recipe in Modules before you come to the meeting. See Group 1 on Tuesday!!!


The Marist varsity boys' cross country team finished in fourth place at the Niles West Pat Savage Invitational on Saturday. The RedHawks were led by captain Thomas Leonard. Against a field of 693 Varsity runners from 60 high schools, Senior Thomas Leonard finished in SECOND place overall! Sophomore Andrew Kerlin finished next for the RedHawks with a personal best three miles time of 16:46.3. Sophomore Jake Phillips finished third for the RedHawks with an outstanding three miles time of 16:49.2. Junior Kevin Bugos finished fourth for the RedHawks with an official time of 17:27.1. Junior Tommy Kavanaugh finished fifth for the RedHawks to complete the scoring with an official time of 17:29.3. The Marist Junior Varsity Cross Country Team will travel to Rich Central on Saturday. The Varsity will prepare for the ESCC Cross Country Championships at Melas Park on October 19, 2019.

Congratulations to the girls' varsity tennis team who took first place in the Reavis Tournament by going undefeated. The RedHawks won 5-0 against Reavis High School, 5-0 against Stagg High School, and 4-1 against Richards High School. 

RedHawks are on a roll! Varsity hockey has won three (3) games in a row with last night's victory over Nazareth Academy by a score of 6-0! Senior Goalie Michael Fischer with his first shutout of the season! JV with a big shootout victory over Oswego 3-2! Way to go boys!   

Congratulations to the varsity soccer team on their 8-1 conference win over Marian Central Catholic on Saturday.  Aidan Gleeson and Jimmy Valek each scored two and Ethan Fit, Marc Carreon, Alex Munoz and Brian Davila each notched a goal.  The team improves to 4-2-1 in conference play and heads to Marian Catholic on Wednesday.
