Daily Announcements 11/9/18

Attention students, tickets for both the football game and the volleyball game will stop going on sale at the end of Mod G lunch. If you haven’t bought a ticket at that time you will have to buy them at the gate for both games.


Fan bus sign ups for tonight’s game will close at the end of Mod G as well. So if you haven’t signed up or if you are having any problems with it, see Mr. Brennan in the SLO.


If you are taking the fan bus, the bus leaves promptly at 4 PM. If you are not here by 4PM the bus will leave without you. Be here on time!


Redhawks can do it!!!!!!!!

The annual food drive has begun.  Collection bags are in the homerooms.  Please be as generous as you can.  Cans will go to local food pantries to feed our neighbors for the Holidays!


Girls attending the November Kairos must attend a mandatory meeting in the Chapel Thursday November 15 immediately after school.  See Mrs. Pochyly


Marist Youth is hosting another “Road Mass” this Sunday, November 11th at St. Terrence in Alsip.  We will attend the 11 AM Mass and will have donuts afterwards.  Please see Ms. Pochyly or Coach Brennan with any questions.



It’s time for our annual Marist exchange program friendly soccer match. This year?: the Americans VS the Europeans as we welcome Marist students from Barcelona, Spain & Genova, Italy. Come out to watch next Tuesday, November 13, to the small gym at 2:30. Bring a friend! Want to play to represent the Americans? Speak to Sra Nathan-Gamauf ASAP and bring some athletic shoes to the gym!



Our next mandatory meeting is this coming Monday, November 12, at 2:30 in Rm. 211. We will hear from the Corazon a Corazon coordinator & we will welcome the 17 students from Barcelona & compete with them in our school scavenger hunt. See you all there!


The Speech and Acting Team is currently looking for students who are interested in speaking competitively and are interested in speaking about politics or writing an original persuasive speech. You could potentially earn a spot to compete at Nationals in May. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, stop by Room 128 after school today or tomorrow.
