We at Marist, in honor of Martin Luther King day, are collecting new and used Children Books for less fortunate kids in the Chicago area. Drop Boxes are located outside the SLO and in Champagant Square. The MLK drive runs through January 18. Remember as MLK said “the time is always right to do what’s right”.

Did you know in many parts of Latin America and in Spain children receive presents from the three wise men on January 6th , and not Santa on Christmas? Come to Spanish Club in 214 this Friday to partake in a typical Dia de Reyes(dee-uh day ray-ays) with a Roscon (rose-cone) cake, tamales, and maybe even a visit from the three wise men!

Boys' basketball played a thriller last night against St. Rita. The game went to overtime, where the RedHawks came up just 3 points short. The final was 52-49. It was a great atmosphere. Thanks to the football, cheer, and poms programs! The team heads to Notre Dame on Friday with games at 5:30 and 7pm.
