This year’s African American Heritage prayer service will be held on Friday, February 23. If you are interested in attending, pick up a permission form from Mrs. Greenan in room 226. JV wrestling team placed third in the ESCC conference. Champions were Jack Kilroy, Quinn Gainer, and Noah Hollifield. Placing 2nd were Jack Vulich and Pat Collevy.
Marist Freshmen Wrestling team won the ESCC Conference Tournament by amassing 153 points and 6 Champions. The champions were Ethan Bednarczyk, PJ Barker, TJ Hinkes, Isiah Harris, Jalen Hill, and Jaden Kinney. Placing 2nd were Mike Bartolotta, Omar Rizek and Sans Flowers. Placing third was Dan Dwyer.
Congratulations to our cheer team on qualifying for the IHSA State Finals, this weekend. The team will compete at Grossinger Motors Arena - Venue: 101 South Madison Street, Bloomington, IL 61701 at 5:45pm on Friday, February 2nd. The top 10 team scores advance to compete on Saturday, Feb. 3rd with times TBD. Tickets for the event are available at the arena for $10 per session. The girls varsity basketball team lost to #2 in the state Maine West last night 68-50. Leading the way for the RedHawks were both Stef Schied and Sydney Affolter with 16 points a piece. The RedHawks are now 19-5 and will face Marian Central on Wednesday evening @ Marian Central.
Any member of the girls track team who has not turned in an order form must see coach Karnia during homeroom today.
