Attention Juniors: Peer Leadership applications are due to Ms. Rakauskas’ office in the ARC by Tuesday, February 6th.  Please see Ms. Rakauskas with any questions.


Attention Juniors:  The deadline to sign up for Senior Service is Tuesday, February 6.  Completed applications can be dropped off at the table outside of the Chapel.


There is a mandatory Kairos meeting for all Girls February Participants today, Thursday, February 1, at 2:30 in the Chapel.


See Mrs. Pochyly if you can’t make the meeting. 


This year’s African American Heritage prayer service will be held on Friday, February 23.  If you are interested in attending, pick up a permission form from Mrs. Greenan in room 226.  There are only 35 spots available and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. All forms are due to Mrs. Greenan by February 14 at the latest.


Buongiorno! If you are traveling to Italy over Spring Break, don't forget to pay the second deposit by this Friday, February the 2nd. You can give your check to Mrs. Zulato or Senora Nathan-Gamauf. 

Unsure about where to go to college? Still don't even know where to apply? Save the date for our next Hawk Talk on February 13th with four young alums who will discuss their college experiences and share advice. 

There will be boys volleyball open gym tomorrow at 7 am in the small gym.


There will be a mandatory meeting for all girls volleyball players on Friday at 2:20 in the small gym. See coach Vidovic if you are unable to attend.


Tamales, tamales, tamales!  Come to Spanish Club this Friday after school in room 208 to taste different flavors of Mexican tamales.  Please bring $2 to participate.

ITALIAN CLUB: come to Italian Club today, Thursday, February 1st, at 2:30 pm in room 223, to watch the second part of the Oscar-winning movie La vita e' bella. Bring your favorite snack and get comfortable while enjoying a real masterpiece.

Attention all male swimmers – if you are interested in competing in the IHSA Swimming Sectional being held on 2/17/18 please see Mr. Simpson in the athletic office if you have not done so already by 2/6/18.

Congratulations to the girls varsity basketball game for their 20th win this season vs. Marian Central Catholic 61-41. Leading the way in scoring for the RedHawks was McKenna Kallianis with 18 points, followed by Syd Affolter and Abby Callahan with 12 points a piece. The ladies have a home game tonight vs. Fenwick H.S. @ 7:00pm. The freshman and sophomores play at 5:30.
