The Archdiocese of Chicago is having their annual African American Heritage Prayer Service on Friday February 22nd.  If you are interested in going, please see Mr. Christensen in the Guidance Office for information and a permission form.

The next Mock Trial meeting will be tomorrow after school from 2:45-3:45 in room 113.


Students Against Destructive Decisions will co-sponsor a self-defense seminar on TODAY at 5:30 p.m. in the Marist Cafeteria.  SADD is partnering with State Rep Fran Hurley, State Senator Bill Cunningham, and State Rep Kelly Burke for this event.   This seminar is FREE and open to all students, faculty, and staff as well as the community!  The self-defense seminar will be taught by a retired law enforcement officer.  Come out and learn how to protect yourself against an assailant! Preregistration is not required, just show up!  Please see Mrs. Novak in Guidance with any questions.





Attention to all those interested in tryout out for softball: there will be a mandatory meeting at 2:30 today in room 130. See Coach Biebel if you cannot make it.

The RedHawk wrestling team had an eventful weekend competing at the state tournament in Champaign this past weekend. The Wrestlers came away with two medalists. Jacob Dado competing at the 138 pound weight class finished in 5th place and Michael Leveille competing at the 113 pound weight class finished in 4th place. The Illinois State Wrestling Tournament is considered one of the top wrestling tournament in the nation. Congratulations go out to both Jacob and Michael.
