Lost & Found:  We have many things in the lost and found, please stop in the main office today.

Tickets for The Sound of Music are available for purchase before, during and after school in the ARC.  Tickets are $5-student and $15 general.

Tonight, at 6pm in the ARC alum Bernadette Heitschmidt '12 will discuss adjusting to college, sharing her insights from her work in residence life at Marquette and Northern Illinois. Upperclassmen and parents are encouraged to attend!

 

Tomorrow, three engineers Marist parent Greg McCalin, alum Kevin Slanicky '95, and Tom Ratajczek '98 will discuss different career paths in engineering during lunch mods in the main office conference room. E-mail Mrs. McArdle to reserve your spot! As always, pizza and treats will be served and space is limited. 

 

All Seniors and Juniors---if you are looking for spring and summer jobs, check the glass cases across from the guidance office.

Clubs

There will be a Mock Trial meeting today after school from 2:45-3:45 in room 113.

Spanish Club: On Friday we will be having a Spanish language movie day, but it is your decision to pick what we watch! Go to the Spanish Club Twitter @Redhawk_Spanish (make sure to say underscore) and vote for either Instructions Not Included or Under the Same Moon. The winner will be played after school Friday in 211. Palomitas y refrescos will be served. See Sr. Arevalo or Srta. Jorgensen for questions.

 

Are you interested in law? Would you like to tour a federal courtroom and meet a judge with Marist alumni lawyers? Stop by Mrs. McArdle's office for a permission slip for an after-school field trip downtown on 4/3.

 

 

Sports

Boys’ volleyball team sweeps JCA in the conference opener last night. Congrats to Rocky Mayer, Marty Jepsen, Brendan Chausse, and sophomore Kyle Pietrzak on being named to the Marist Invite All- Tournament Team.

 

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls LAX team with their second victory on the season.  They won with a score of 13-2. The “Player of the Game” is freshman Goalie Maddie Drebing who made numerous saves in the goal.

Congratulations to the girls’ & boys’ bowling teams on receiving the IHSA Team Academic Achievement Award this year.  Team grade-point-averages has to be 3.0/4.0 scale minimum.
