Marist will host its 2nd Annual Champagnat Day today, Wednesday, April 10.  As part of the 24-hour giving event, students can dress down for a $5 donation that will be collected during homeroom.  Anyone who gives $50 or more should make their donation in the main office to receive a pair of Marist socks, while supplies last.  If at least 600 students donate on Wednesday, a Marist alum will contribute $4,000 to the Marist Fund.  You can also participate in selfie challenges.  The best selfies in select categories will win fun prizes!  Check out the Marist website or social media pages for details.  And, we will be playing Champagnat Trivia during lunch mods.  Winning tables will receive gift cards…and everyone will receive a free Frosty!

The Marist Speech and Acting Team will host its 5th annual showcase this Friday, April 12th at 7 PM in the RedHawk Theatre. The showcase will feature performances from our talented National qualifiers. Admission is $5, and all proceeds will go toward the team’s trip to Nationals in May. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance. See Ms. Paoletti in Room 128, Mr. DiStasio, or any of the speech kids to purchase tickets.

Pilatus, and relaxing on a cruise around Lake Lucerne in Switzerland?  How about crossing the border into Germany and entering the dream castle that served as the model for Sleeping Beauty’s castle, while finishing the week by exploring Munich, Germany and taking an excursion to the concentration camp at Dachau?  Register by May 15th in order to get a $175.00 early enrollment discount off the total price of this amazing trip, and take longer time to make payments if you register this school year.  See Mrs. Cox or Mr. Ryan in guidance for more information and for the trip application.
