Current and future AP Physics students traveling to Argonne tomorrow should check their e-mail for reminders about the trip. See Mrs. McArdle or Mr. Lesher with any questions.

ATTENTION JUNIORS… Need to get away from it all? Well then why not treat yourself to something special and sign up for the spring Junior Retreat! It’s one day… all day… and will be well-worth your time! Registration forms are available from Deacon Andy in the Main Office.

Are you interested in medicine? There is a field trip to tour Northwestern's stroke care unit next Thursday through Explore. See Mrs. McArdle for a permission slip and more information. There is no cost, and dinner will be served. 

If you plan to attend the film Huahua at Saint Xaiver on Wednesday, please RSVP with your World Language teacher or Mrs. McArdle by the end of the day!

Lost & Found:  We have many things in the lost and found, please stop in the main office today.

Clubs

SADD Club will meet immediately after school today in Room 209.  We will be planning our spring activities.  All club members are encouraged to attend.

 

Calling all Chefs! Group 1 and anyone from Group 3 will meet today at 2:30 in the CAFE.

 

Come join the EVOLVE club on Thursday April 11th for “YOU ARE MY NEIGHBOR – Disrupting Violence”.  This presentation by local Chicago changemakers and the New York Times bestselling author Gregory Boyle, will be at St. Barnabas from 7-9pm on Thursday April 11th.  See Coach Topps or Mr. Christensen for more information and to register. 

 

Sports

 

Over the weekend, the boys’ volleyball team went 4-1 and finished 2nd overall in the Wheaton Tiger Classic. The freshman squad were also runner up in the Br. Rice Classic led by Ryan Flynn and Timmy Clancy.

 

Tonight, the RedHawks host defending state runner up Neuqua Valley and 6 foot 9 Lewis University commit Kevin Kauling at 6pm on grammar school volleyball night. Be there to cheer on the program in a big match.
