Were you in band in junior high and miss playing your instrument?  Do you want to go to New Orleans next year and Disney World the year after?  Do you want to be a part of one of the most successful organizations in the school?  Then come join the Marist Band!  If you are interested in joining the famous Marist Band, please see Mr. Creagh in the band room or e-mail him at creagh.andrew@marist.net as

Would you like to spend next year’s spring break seeing the sights of Paris, having dinner on the Eiffel Tower, cruising down the Seine River, visiting the Palace at Versailles, enjoying a morning excursion to the top of the world with the nearly 7,000 feet ascent to the summit of Mt. Pilatus, and relaxing on a cruise around Lake Lucerne in Switzerland?  How about crossing the border into Germany and entering the dream castle that served as the model for Sleeping Beauty’s castle, while finishing the week by exploring Munich, Germany and taking an excursion to the concentration camp at Dachau?  

 

Register by May 15th in order to get a $175.00 early enrollment discount off the total price of this amazing trip, and take longer time to make payments if you register this school year.  See Mrs. Cox or Mr. Ryan in guidance for more information and for the trip application. 

 

 

ATTENTION JUNIORS… Need to get away from it all? Well then why not treat yourself to something special and sign up for the spring Junior Retreat! It’s one day… all day… and will be well-worth your time! Registration forms are available from Deacon Andy in the Main Office.

Clubs

Come join the EVOLVE club on Thursday April 11th for “YOU ARE MY NEIGHBOR – Disrupting Violence”.  This presentation by local Chicago changemakers and the New York Times bestselling author Gregory Boyle, will be at St. Barnabas from 7-9pm on Thursday April 11th.  See Coach Topps or Mr. Christensen for more information and to register. 

 

Calling all Chefs! Group 2 and anyone from Group 4 will meet on Thursday, April 4th at 2:30 in the CAFÉ.

There will be no Mock Trial meeting after school today. Students assigned roles to participate in the Trial on 4/24 should please check their e-mail and reply to Mrs. McArdle.

Boys’ volleyball swept defending state runner-up Neuqua Valley last night.

Baseball starts action in the National High School Invitational in North Carolina at 2:40pm today. Follow their games on the app Gamechanger. Search for Marist RedHawks.
