ATTENTION SENIORS: EUCHARISTIC MINISTER training for seniors takes place this week on Thursday, September 5, at 2:50 pm in the Chapel. If you came to training last week, you don’t need to come again. We will also try to add a morning training session soon. Once you have completed training you will be scheduled to serve at our all-school liturgies throughout the school year!!

Sophomores and juniors, interested in a college tour through Indiana, Nashville, and Ohio in February?! We will see Butler, Indiana, Belmont, Vanderbilt, Fisk, Kentucky, Xavier, and Dayton. Students and their parent/guardian are invited to attend an informational meeting Thursday, September 5th at 7pm in room 113. The Argentines are coming! 18 students from a Marist school in Buenos Aires will be here October 5-14 and we need host families to welcome them and be their new Marist brothers and sisters. Pick up an application outside of Room 216 and contact Mr. Brant (Rm. 224) with questions. Applications should be turned in by Friday, September 13, to your Spanish teacher.


Are you interested in promoting diversity and inclusion at Marist and in the community?  Are you looking for group of like-minded friends, to discuss issues of social justice and change? If so then come join EVOLVE.  Our first meeting will be held on Thursday September 5th at 250pm in room 206.  

Students Against Destructive Decisions Club will host a free pizza party immediately after school on Tuesday, September 3rd in Room 209.  All students interested in learning more about SADD Club and its activities and programs for the upcoming school year are invited to come.  All current members are welcomed as well. Please see Mrs. Novak in Guidance with any questions.


There will be a very brief meeting for all those boys interested in trying out and not in a fall sport for basketball Thursday, 9/5, at 2:50 in the gym balcony.  Preseason conditioning and open gym to be discussed.  Questions see Coach Trendel.
