In listening to the recent weather reports, it is predicted that the Chicagoland area will have heavy snow throughout the evening and into the early morning tomorrow. The risk associated with travel, either by car or public transportation, appears to be high. We do not wish to put our families or faculty in a position where their attempts to come to school put them in harm’s way.
Therefore, we have decided that all classes tomorrow – Tuesday, January 26 – will occur remotely in order to ensure the safety of families and faculty who travel a distance to and from school. We will follow our regular routine schedule with classes occurring at their assigned time on Zoom. Students are expected to attend all 3 or 4 classes tomorrow and attendance will be taken.
All scheduled school activities and practices will occur this afternoon, but those scheduled for tomorrow are canceled as the building will be closed to students.
Students should check Canvas for Zoom links and additional information from their teachers.
We are planning to return to in-person learning on Wednesday, January 27. In the meantime, be safe, be warm, and be smart!
