Marist's Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) group will co-sponsor a self-defense class on February 19 in partnership with State Representative Fran Hurley, State Senator Bill Cunningham, and State Representative Kelly Burke.
This free seminar is open to the public. It is taught by a law enforcement officer, and will be fun and interactive. It will provide introductory information on how to protect yourself against assailants.
The class begins at 5:30 p.m. and will be held in the school cafeteria. Attendees should enter at the main gym doors at the east end of the building.
See Mrs. Novak in Guidance for details.
