Marist High School is proud to announce senior Quinn Kelly has received the prestigious Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship.
Kelly (Mt. Greenwood), is a graduate of St. Christina. He has caddied at Crystal Tree Country Club for five years. He is a 2019 Illinois State Scholar. Along with carrying a challenging honors course load, Kelly has served been a part of Marist’s student council, student ambassadors, and broadcasting program. He has also participated in the school’s golf and volleyball programs. He hopes to attend Miami University in Ohio, University of Kansas or Marquette University.
Marist High School has 181 Chick Evans Scholars in its school history. The Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship provides full tuition and college housing for golf caddies, and is renewable for up to four years. To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, all applicants must have a strong caddie record, excellent academics, demonstrated financial need, and outstanding character. Applicants are evaluated and compete on the above criteria for the limited number of awards given annually.
