Marist honored five retirees--Dr. Michael Bello, Randy Coe, Bonnie Littleton, Diane Snyder, and Jerry Sullivan--at a celebration on Thursday, May 4 at Gaelic Park. The retirees contributed a combined 154 years to Marist High School.
Bello has taught religion for 16 years, along with philosophy.
Coe has taught a variety of social studies courses during his 38 years at Marist. He moderated numerous clubs and served as the "voice of Marist".
Littleton taught English and technology during her 40 years at the school. She moderated a number of clubs and created Marist's first website, continuing to maintain it through this year.
Snyder has worked in the advancement office and been key to many projects and campaigns over her 21 year tenure.
Science teacher Jerry Sullivan has taught at Marist for 39 years and was crucial in building the Marcellin Program. He also coached golf for 25 years.
The party included many heartfelt and funny speeches from co-workers and the retirees.
