Summer Driver Education is full.
Marist High School, in conjunction with CPS (Bogan High School), will offer three sections of online classroom instruction in Driver Education during the summer beginning Monday, June 1 and ending Friday, June 26. Students will complete the course at home, not at Marist High School. Marist students will use their school email for the class. Classes will be held at 8:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Students must be 15 years of age prior to June 1st.
Enrollment in the class will be on a first come, first served basis.
The costs for the program are as follows:
Driver’s Ed Course
$50 online credit card payment to Marist High School
State of Illinois Driving Permit
$20 check to Secretary of State to be paid during class when requested by instructor
Range Simulation – Bogan High School
$50 E-pay to Chicago Public Schools to be paid during class, when signing up for Behind the Wheel.
Students must also be in good standing in the Dean’s Office with regards to academics, attendance, and discipline.
Online registration is not a guarantee of enrollment. A final class roster will be posted by Dean Pirkle.
