Marist is excited to use iPads as a tool in the school's innovative curriculum. The iPad gives the opportunity to combine education with technology and creativity. The possibilities that apps and e-books offer students and teachers alike are countless. This plan does not change Marist’s long-running commitment to challenging academics in the least. The iPad is a tool, not a replacement for high quality content and skilled teaching. It will help Marist students gain proficiency in 21st century learning skills that include problem solving, communication and collaboration, critical thinking, digital literacy, creativity, and innovation. All of these skills are necessary for college and or workplace applications.
