COVID Information

There are many questions when it comes a possible exposure to COVID-19 or a positive test. Here is where to start for your Marist student.

If you have COVID-19 symptoms:

• Get tested within 48 hours of developing symptoms.

• Ask for the PCR test – NOT the rapid test.

• Call the Attendance Office to report your absence.

• Stay home and wait for your results.

• If your result is positive fill out the positive COVID-19 form.

• The school nurse, Mrs. Amanda Gaida, will contact you (during school hours) regarding your isolation protocol and she will contact your teachers and the assistant principal of academics to place you on the remote learning list.

If you were in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID:

• Fill out the close contact form

• The school nurse will contact you regarding your quarantine protocol.

• If you develop symptoms while you are quarantining you should get tested within 48 hours of developing those symptoms.

• If you do not develop symptoms (but want to get tested) you should get tested 5-9 days after your exposure to the person who tested positive for COVID – not before that.

• Ask for the PCR test – NOT the rapid test.

If your result is positive, fill out the positive COVID-19 form.

• The school nurse will contact you (during school hours) regarding your isolation protocol and she will contact your teachers and the assistant principal of academics to place you on the remote learning list.
