Offices & Resources

Campus Vaccination Partnership

Marist High School, in partnership with the City of Chicago’s 19th Ward and Walgreen’s, will hold COVID-19 vaccination events on campus for Marist students and family members. This includes incoming freshman families.

Walgreen’s staff will be on Marist’s campus to administer the vaccine on the following dates:

  • Tuesday and Wednesday, May 25 and 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the first shot (Hynes Gym)
  • Tuesday and Wednesday, June 15 and 16 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the second shot (cafeteria)

Appointments must be made in advance through the Pick-a-Time website. Families who have existing Pick-a-Time accounts may use theirs or directions on how to create an account are available here. Registering for the first shot automatically registers you for the same day of the week and the same time for the second shot.

At the vaccination event, the Pfizer vaccine will be given. The FDA has authorized the emergency use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine in individuals 12 years of age and older. Here is a fact sheet about that vaccine. Students must bring a completed VAR Consent Form and insurance card to their appointment. Parents do NOT need to accompany their child if the child has a VAR signed by the parent with a parent phone number in the phone number field.

For more information, contact Marist School Nurse Amanda Gaida or Assistant Principal Beth O’Neill.
