Leading Global Innovation in Insurance Technology

Barrett Callaghan ’88 is a seasoned executive in the technology and customer success sectors, with over three decades of experience driving growth and transformation across the insurance and automotive industries. He currently serves as the Head of Global Markets and Customer Success at Shift Technology, a leading provider of AI-powered decision-making solutions for the global insurance sector. In this role, Barrett leads global expansion efforts, helping clients implement advanced technologies that improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.

Barrett’s leadership journey includes a 16-year tenure at CCC Intelligent Solutions, where he held a variety of senior roles, including Executive Vice President of Markets and Customer Success, Strategic Advisor, and General Manager. He also held leadership roles at Process Claims and CCC Information Services earlier in his career, where he developed deep expertise in enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, and national account management.

Recognized by colleagues as a savvy and accomplished tech sales executive, Barrett is known for his ability to build strong client relationships, bridge communication between IT teams and business stakeholders, and deliver results in complex technology environments.

In addition to his professional work, Barrett serves on the Board of Directors at Crash Champions, a leading U.S. operator of more than 650 collision repair centers. His influence and insight continue to shape the future of customer success and innovation across the auto and insurance industries.

A graduate of Eastern Illinois University, Barrett takes pride in his roots at Marist High School. As a parent to four daughters, including three Marist alumnae, he remains deeply committed to the school’s mission and values, supporting its continued impact on future generations.
