Social Studies Department
At Marist High School, we have designed the curriculum of the Social Studies Department to promote critical thinking among our students as they analyze factors which influence culture, society, government, and human behavior. Our goal is to ensure that the knowledge and skills acquired by our students will transfer to their everyday lives as they graduate to become thoughtful and active citizens. All courses within the Social Studies Department fall within the categories of either Social Science or Business courses.
