Science Department

The Marist High School Science Department is committed to providing 21st century learning opportunities designed to allow students to continuously be challenged to discover, interpret, and apply scientific knowledge.

A wide-variety of hands-on laboratory experiences will allow students to develop scientific reasoning and scientific inquiry skills to better understand the world and solve problems. Students use technology and work collaboratively on a daily basis.

The science course offerings range from traditional classes such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to electives like Forensic Science, Environmental Science, Anatomy, and Astronomy. There are 3-4 levels (Marcellin, Academic, Honors, Advanced Placement) of most courses to meet the needs of every learner. All courses are NCAA approved.
