The Marist Endowment Fund

The Marist H.S. Chicago Foundation oversees the Marist Endowment Fund, which was established to support tuition financial aid and selected budgetary needs at Marist High School. To ensure long-term sustainability, annual distributions are limited to a maximum of 4% of each named fund’s beginning-of-fiscal-year balance.

The Endowment is professionally managed by Fiducient Advisors, the Foundation’s investment advisor since the 2014–2015 school year. The Endowment includes more than 65 named scholarships, which are awarded after a family applies for financial aid through Marist and in accordance with the specific criteria and donor intent of each fund. In addition to scholarships, the Endowment also provides donors with an opportunity to support designated budgetary relief items for Marist.

A minimum fund balance of $50,000 is required before distributions may begin. Donors may fulfill pledges over time through an agreed-upon payment schedule and may contribute on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual basis.
