David Robinson ’12

David Robinson ’12 is the head of research at ParkerGale, a private equity firm focused on investing in growth-stage technology companies. In this role, David leads the firm’s research efforts, identifying emerging trends, evaluating industries, and delivering market insights that inform both the investment and operating teams. His work plays a critical role in shaping firm strategy and keeping ParkerGale aligned with shifts in technology and business.

Before joining ParkerGale, David worked in equity research at William Blair, where he covered software and internet companies. His earlier career began at Ernst & Young, where he worked in the Assurance practice, gaining foundational experience in financial reporting and corporate accountability.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois. Known for his analytical precision and strategic perspective, David bridges the worlds of finance, technology, and operations to help organizations make better decisions.
