Catholic Schools Week

CSW_2019Marist High School is proud to celebrate Catholic Schools Week January 26 through January 31 and to honor our tradition of faith formation, family atmosphere, and future readiness. In our 56th year of making Jesus known and loved we are humbled by all those who have come before us to build our community. We all are responsible for the incredible family we have become.

We also salute all of our local Catholic grade schools for their dedication the faith and their commitment to the young people of the South Side.

This week, Marist Religious Studies teachers will invite students to share (via Instagram or Twitter) the name of a teacher who has had an impact on their education.  Students will use the hashtags #CSW2020 and #MARISTAPPRECIATES. Check out them out on Twitter

Additionally, some freshman students write a letter of gratitude to a teacher they had in elementary school.

“A Marist School is a center of learning of life, and of evangelizing.  As a school, it leads students to learn to know, to be competent, to live together, and most especially to grow as persons.  As a Catholic school, it is a community setting in which faith, hope and love are lived and communicated, and in which students are progressively initiated into their life-long challenge of harmonizing faith, culture, and life.  As a Catholic school in the Marist tradition, it adopts Marcellin’s approach to educating children and youth, in the way of Mary.”
