Marist rising senior, Liliana Kolar, was awarded The Michael Sullivan Family Foundation “Senior Year Scholarship for Excellence in Mathematics” that includes full tuition and fees for her senior year!

There was such strong competition this year on the Math Team so I am very grateful to have received this award. My parents and I are incredibly happy to have my senior year tuition covered. I am grateful that I am able to give back to my parents after all they have sacrificed for me and for all their love and support.

Liliana is a graduate of St. Gerald. At Marist, she has been a member of the Varsity Soccer Team since her freshman year and Varsity Flag Football team since junior year. She is the founding VP of the Engineering Club and was just elected President of National Honor Society for the 26-27 school year. Liliana is also a Student Ambassador and member of the Spanish National Honor Society, Academic Team and Math Team.

Her favorite classes at Marist are AP Chem and College Algebra & Trig Honors. She hopes to major in biomedical engineering in college.

“I really love my teachers and they have provided me a great STEM foundation that will definitely set me up for success later in my career,” said Liliana.
