Parent Involvement At Marist

Parent involvement at Marist is a rich tradition. The purpose of the Marist Parents’ Club (MPC) is two-pronged: to create events where parents can spend time with their high school children, and to create a parent community.

How Can I Join?

The Parents’ Club is a supportive social group – not a fundraising group. By being a Marist parent you are a member of the Parents Club. Please join us at one of the 2025-26 events or come to one of the monthly meetings.

2025-26 Parents’ Club Meeting Dates

Parents’ Club Gathering/Meeting Dates for 2025-26 School Year:

Wednesday, September 10th – With speakers on social media safety and helping your child transition to high school (held in the Theater)

Wednesday, January 14, 2026 – “Teaching Teens About Basic Finance: Credit, budgeting, saving, and what parents can teach at home.” Ready to empower your teens with smart money skills for life? Join us for an engaging and practical Parents’ Club meeting you won’t want to miss! We’re excited to welcome our very own Tim Mulcahy ’93, who will share valuable insights on building strong financial habits—everything from responsible credit use and
budgeting to saving wisely. You’ll also discover strategies for preparing together for college and life after Marist.

Meetings held in the Tribute Room from 7:00-8:30 pm unless otherwise noted.

TFreshman Parent Welcome Social – Thursday, September 4th from 8:30pm-10:00pm, in the Tribute Room; (Refreshments will be served).

Father/Son Tailgate Friday, September 19th from 5:00-7:00 pm, at the parking lot by door 39; Nicky V’s Beef and Dogs Food Truck | Thank you to those who joined us – click for photos!

Mother/Daughter Mass and Brunch – Sunday, October 19th from 10:30am-2:00pm; Mass will be held at Most Holy Redeemer (10:30am) and lunch will be served at Bourbon Street | Thank you to those who joined us – click for photos!

Marist Parents’ Club Christmas Trivia Night– Tuesday, December 16th at Bourbon Street at 7:00pm. Bring a friend or bring a whole crew… build your dream team and compete for some serious Marist bragging rights! Rock your most outrageous ugly Christmas sweater and you could take home the coveted “Ugliest of Them All” title! Stay tuned—ticket info is coming soon on our website and social media.
