Frankie (St. Barnabas School)
“Leaving Marist in May, I am walking away a better person by having grown spiritually, academically, and athletically. Over the past 4 years Marist became my home and I am extremely grateful for what Marist has given me. I am very fortunate to have amazing teachers and coaches that push me each and every day. I enjoyed being a 3 year varsity baseball player. My most memorable year was Sophomore year where I made all ESCC conference, as well as throwing a no hitter. This past fall, I placed second individually at the IHSA golf regionals. I am forever grateful for the relationships I have made at Marist.
Next year I will be attending Bucknell University to further my baseball and academic career where I plan on studying Finance.
Receiving this recognition has only motivated me more to perform at a higher level in the classroom and on the field.” – Frankie Bilecki
Brenna (Central Middle School)
“As I look back at my time at Marist, I could not be more grateful for all of the experiences and opportunities I have had both in and out of the classroom. I am so fortunate to be surrounded by such an amazing community that has prepared me well for my future. It has been an honor to represent Marist in cross country, bowling, and track and field. I am excited to finish off my fourth and final season on our varsity track a field team, with hopes of becoming a four time state qualifier in pole vaulting. I am proud to call myself a Marist student-athlete.
I have not yet made my final college decision but I am considering Kansas University, the University of Iowa, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the University of Tennessee. I plan to study occupational therapy.
Balancing athletics and academics is not always easy and to be recognized for this fuels me to continue to set high standards for myself and give my all in every aspect of my life. ” – Brenna Dunlap
Congratulations to Frankie and Brenna on this prestigious honor! You are a true representation of what it means to be a Marist student-athlete. We wish you the best of luck in college and beyond!
